Hotel Tampa Riverwalk

I liked the breakfast, although it was very expensive. On the first day, a buffet breakfast was served and cost $21. The following day a la cart 10 dollars (omlet, bacon) Coffee was Starbucks and free. it was also possible to make coffee and tea in the hotel room. It was located right by the river, it was very romantic to have breakfast. Although it was also cool (the weather was windy).

The view and it’s right on the water. Great staff. Camilla And Andrew Checked me in at great speeds and they were very helpful. Andrew Was able too check me in even when the computer system was down. He did it on his phone in a split second and had me in a beautiful room with a great view of downtown. Thanks Andrew. Camilla was a sweet lady who made me feel good about extending my stay she was quick in checking my out and right back in the same room Andrew had me in. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was amazing. Also the GM always greeted me when I came in and out the hotel I felt very comfortable knowing they care on my stay. Overall 100% on my first stay there at TRH. Bless you guys and see you again.

The location was amazing! Located right on the Riverwalk with plenty of restaurants, bars, and the arena within walking distance. The pool and pool bar were great (although pool isn’t heated). Plenty of lounge chairs around the pool. Great mix of music always playing. Close to a great, less crowded running trail (Bayshore trail) just over the bridge - thank you to Lauren our bartender for suggesting this! The river view room with the balcony was amazing… morning coffee and pregaming drinks on the balcony each day was absolutely perfect! The view was gorgeous and we would see dolphins and manatees swimming up and down the river routinely. I will definitely stay here again!

I've read alot of negative reviews about this place and was afraid to stay here. But it was only for one night so we took a chance. We had "The City view with balcony" our room was on the fifth floor. This place was beyond my expectations! It was beautiful in the lobby and the rooms were clean. There were alot of fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion. There was also a TV and a coffee maker in the room with 2 bottles of water. (Everything a normal hotel has). The staff was very friendly, and accommodating. They even gave us a voucher for a free drink at the pool bar. I didn't use the pool, but it was clean. At the restaurant we had breakfast and it was delicious! Check out was easy. We will stay here again if we go back to Tampa.

The staff made all the difference to us. Jeanette was our housekeeper. When I explained to her that our coffee maker wasn't working, she dropped everything to swap it out and made sure we had plenty of coffee to go with. She was SO friendly and enthusiastic. You would have thought we were guests in her own home. Jose at the front desk was also personable and welcoming. He spent time helping us bridge separate reservations we made on consecutive days so we could stay in the same room. He made it feel like it was no big deal for him, but it was a HUGE convenience to us. The location and riverside pool were why we came, but the people are what will want to make us come back.
